GOBOWEN Celtic tasted a 3-1 defeat at home to Haughmond in the Salop Leisure Shropshire Premier League on Saturday.

Harley Dubicki netted a consolation for the hosts as goals from Ethan Pickford, James Hall and Scott Grant ensured the visitors the points.

Adam Oliver proved the match winner as Morda United battled to a 1-0 win at Ercall Evolution.

Elliot Jukes and Sam Willett goals were not enough as Whitchurch Alport 1946 fell to a 4-2 defeat at Dawley Town who prevailed with two goals from Ross Jones and strikes from James Bennett-Tindall and George Lees.
