MORDA United Football Club continues to go from strength to strength.
The club has spent the summer holding open trials for promising youngsters from the area to bolster their youth team ranks next season.
The Yellows compete in the Salop Leisure Shropshire Premier League while a reserve team operates in the first division and a junior team in the county under 18s league.
A club spokesman said: "Morda United U18s trials will continue throughout the summer so if you are between 15- 7 years old and want to be part of group of young talent, come down every Thursday 7 - 8pm or contact Steve 07860313422/ email stv.mcg2014@gmail.com.
The senior team's open trials have now ended with training now by invitation only.
Meanwhile the club has followed a similar path to many clubs by rebranding their second string.
A club spokesman said: "Following on from our annual meeting a couple weeks ago, we have decided to rename our second team.
"Last season we named the team Morda United Development’ and this coming season we will name the team Morda United 1975."
