OSWESTRY Cricket Club's under 13s fell short in the ECB T20 Cup final against Dorridge on Sunday.
The Shropshire ECB T20 Cup champions sealed a final date at home to the Warwickshire competition, winners.
Batting first, Dorridge scored 92 runs for two wickets from their rain restricted 10 overs.
It was very difficult for Oswestry to cope with bowling first on a very wet outfield which meant the ball was very hard to grasp.

Then, batting second, when the weather was better, the hosts could only get to 55 for the loss of five wickets as they ended second best against formidable opposition.
A club spokesman said: "Dorridge were an exceptionally strong team, with nine of their 11 players on the books of Warwickshire, so it was almost as if we were playing a county, not another club.
"We are tremendously proud of our team, captained by Harry Harrison, and led by coaches Andy Hall and Steve Humphreys."
