ST Martins played their part in a nine goal thriller before losing 5-4 at home to Ludlow in the Salop Leisure Shropshire Premier League on Saturday.
Josh Leach struck twice for the Saints while Joshua Davies and Samuel Berquez also netted with the latter also dismissed for the hosts.
Ryan Lewis struck twice while goals from Harry Hurst, Aaron Dovey and Jack Marston completed the scoring for the South Shropshire side.

Gobowen Celtic shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw at home to Shifnal Town 1964. Jonathan Mitchell and Ed Rogers struck for the hosts while Sam Wilde netted twice in reply.
Ellesmere Rangers fell to a 3-1 defeat at Dawley Town with Max Jones’ strike a consolation with goals from Sam Rigby, George Lees and Ross Jones settling the outcome.
Weston Rhyn fell to a 3-0 defeat at home to Meole Brace 1906 and Morda United Development tasted a 6-2 defeat at Shrewsbury Up and Comers Development in the first division.
Andrei Radulescu and Jacob Owen-Jones each netted twice for the Shrews with Robbie Beaumond and Ashton Passant goals completing their tally.
