Oswestry Olympians Athletics Club officials and athletes are celebrating after a successful season.
The club's juniors completed another successful season in the Shropshire Young Athletes League by finishing third overall behind Shrewsbury and Telford clubs.
This result delighted the Oswestry coaches as the club has to rely on the use of the playing fields of local schools for training whilst four of the other five competing clubs have the benefit of training at specialised athletics tracks.
A squad of more than 30 young athletes made the journey to William Brookes School, Much Wenlock for this evening fixture.
There were as number of notable individual performances but club coach Ashley Gray was keen to praise the efforts of every team member who contributed points in this and the previous meetings during the season.
