Chirk Castle was forced to close after a fallen tree blocking the entrance.
The National Trust who run the castle have confirmed that the castle will be closed "until further notice after a tree fell blocking the entrance.
Staff at the castle have advised the public to avoid entering the estate due to risks to their safety.
A spokesperson for Chirk Castle said: "Due to a fallen tree blocking the entrance drive, the gates are currently shut. For your safety, please avoid entering the estate until further notice.
"We appreciate your understanding and will provide updates as soon as the situation is resolved. Stay safe."
