CHIRK AAA have confirmed Gary Jones will step down as manager at the end of the JD Cymru North season.
The former Maesyrhandir and Carno boss will step down from the helm at Holyhead Road after two years with the club's relegation to the Ardal North East League confirmed.
A club spokesman said: "Gary has reluctantly decided to step down due to family commitments. The travelling for match days and training nights have restricted Gary on family time and he has decided to step down from the role.
"The club would like to thank Gary for his commitment and dedication he has shown in his time at the club and wish him well for the future.
"We are actively seeking a replacement and we are hoping to appoint a new manager in the coming weeks."
Jones thanked the club for making him feel welcome for the past two years.
"Thanks everyone," he said: "It has been a pleasure to be at Chirk for two great seasons. Good luck to the club for the future."
