FREEDOM Leisure is once again offering free swimming sessions for children under the age of 16 at Chirk Leisure Centre during the summer holidays.
From July 21 to August 31, kids can enjoy complimentary swimming at select leisure centres in the area.
For those near Chirk, there are multiple options available at Chirk Leisure and Activity Centre.

On Tuesdays, swimming is available from 1pm to 2pm, and on Fridays from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
Additionally, Sunday swim sessions are held from 1pm to 2pm, with Family Swim taking place on Fridays from 11am to 12pm.

The Free Swimming initiative was initially launched in 2003 as the first national program of its kind in Wales. Its primary objective is to encourage more young people aged 16 and under to learn how to swim.
The initiative is funded by the Welsh Government, managed by Sport Wales, and delivered by the 22 local authorities.
Gwyn Evans Leisure and Activity Centre in Gwersyllt offers free swimming on Tuesdays from 2pm to 3pm, and on Thursdays from 3pm to 4pm.
Waterworld Leisure and Activity Centre will be hosting free swim sessions on Thursdays from 1pm to 2pm.
