CHIRK AAA have continued to strengthen ahead of the JD Cymru North campaign with a raft of new signings.
The Holyhead Road club is looking forward to a second campaign in the second tier but will hope to avoid the season of struggle which ended with the club narrowly avoiding the drop last term.
The club has had a busy summer off the pitch with a new stand now completed.
Joint-manager Gary Jones joins Jack Ellis in replacing Andy Pryce at the helm.
The pair have wasted little time in bolstering their ranks with Spencer Parrish heading the cast of new arrivals.

The 20 year old forward joins from JD Cymru North rivals Guilsfield. Jones said: “We’re really happy to welcome Spencer back to the club from Guilsfield. “He’s a local lad, who’s keen to make an impact for us in tier two and he’s looked sharp in training so far.”
Also arriving are Josh Evans and Dan Burnett who join the Colliers following their release by JD Cymru Premier champions TNS having each helped the Saints win the the FAW North East Reserve League last season.
Jones said: “We’re also happy to add two TNS academy lads, the management team know them well and are excited to give them their first opportunity at this level.”
Chirk have also brought Regan Jones to the club with the ex-Ellesmere Rangers and Rhostyllen player returning to the game after a year out through injury.
Completing the cast of new arrivals is Iwan Hardy who joins from Cefn Druids who stunned Welsh football last week by resigning from JD Cymru North with the Cefn Mawr club yet to confirm whether it will a side at all next season.
The club has also confirmed Dale Davies, Adam Williams, Steff Rogers, Lewis Clamp, Toby Nash, Jack Edwards, Jake Jones, Max McLaughlin and Tristan Lloyd have committed for next season.
The fixtures for the 2023/24 JD Cymru North season have been released. The campaign kicks off on Friday, July 28th after the first round of the Nathaniel MG Cup the previous weekend.
Chirk AAA host Buckley Town on the Friday night before six more matches the following day. Chirk travel to Porthmadog on Tuesday, August 8th and host Llanidloes Town on Sunday, August 13th before travelling to Llandudno on Saturday, August 19th.
Chirk make the journey to Guilsfield on Boxing Day with the reverse fixture at Holyhead Road on New Year’s Day.
