CHIRK AAA Football Club have hailed the completion of a new stand at their Holyhead Road ground.
Work on the 161 seater stand bringis the seated capacity at Holyhead Road to 253, exceeding the minimum requirement to compete in JD Cymru North.
The cost of the stand was partially funded by grant aid from Welsh Ground Improvements via the Football Association of Wales (FAW) and generous sponsorship from partners at Kronospan.

The work was co-ordinated by general manager Mark Holmes.
Club spokesman Nigel Roberts said: "Mark is to be thanked for his sterling work on the project, spending many hours at the ground.
"Steelworks were completed by Darren and his team at Williams Welding & Fabrication of St Martins and groundworks by Richard Titch Roberts.
"An opening ceremony will take place in the next couple of months with a date to be confirmed."
