A COMPANY that provides roadside assistance and breakdown recovery across Shropshire and Powys has expanded into Oswestry to help its contract with a police force.
Rescue & Repair Automotive Services has completed the letting of Unit 9, The Trade Stop, Maes-Y-Clawdd at the town's Maesbury Road Industrial Estate, with the property marketed by Towler Shaw Roberts.
The Oswestry property, which will open later this month, will run alongside the depots the company already have in Telford and Llanidloes in Mid Wales.

He said: “This is an expansion of the business and this is our third depot meaning we’re now up to 15 fleet vehicles.
“We are contracted to Dyfed-Powys Police for the recovery of vehicles and this will help supply better estimated times of arrival within the north of Powys.
“I appreciate that’s over the border, but it was the only place available that can accommodate what we need, and also there’s a shortage in the Oswestry area of recovery companies.
"Towler Shaw Roberts have been very helpful all the way through and made it so easy for us.”
The Oswestry unit provides modern detached warehouse/trade counter premises which extend in total to 4,305 sq ft, with an internal eaves height of 6.5 metres, with access via two roller shutting loading doors. The property also features offices, a kitchenette and staff facilities.
Toby Shaw, who handled the letting for Towler Shaw Roberts, said the move is one that will suit the business.
He said: “It’s a spacious and well-appointed unit which occupies a highly-visible and sought-after position on the popular Maesbury Road Industrial Estate.
