ONE of the biggest name gyms in the UK is coming to Oswestry in December.
With the former Wilko’s store in New Street laying empty, many in the town would have expected Pure Gym to fill that space.
But the brand – which operates 24/7 gyms across the UK – has now confirmed it is coming to a space on the edge of town at the Penda Retail Park, close to B&M and Halfords, and opening on Friday, December 20.

There will be a huge range of classes, all included within the membership price while certified personal trainers will be available to support clients and a free initial exercise induction.
There will be a full parking on site, subject to restrictions.
The spokesman added: “PureGym is always on the lookout for people who want to turn their passion for fitness into a career through the PureGym Personal Training Academy.
