FLOODING in a clear at an Ellesmere property required action from Shropshire firefighters on Thursday afternoon.
One Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crew from the town headed to Trimpley Street at around 3.55pm after reports of flooding affecting electrics in the property.
A SFRS spokesman confirmed action was required to be taken by firefighters.
They said: “One fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

“Flooding affecting electrics in cellar.
“Fire crews used submersible pump and small tools to remove approximately one foot of water.”
A stop message was sent to SFRS control at around 4.25pm to confirm no further support was required.
