TNS booked their place in the fourth round of the JD Welsh Cup following a 3-1 victory against Cardiff Metropolitan University on Saturday.
The first chance went the way of Cardiff Met as Dixon Kabongo fired over from the edge of the penalty area inside the opening seven minutes while Declan McManus steered Jordan Williams' right wing cross wide of target moments later.
It was not until the 30th minute until a breakthrough with Tom Vincent following up to net after Connor Roberts could only parry Joel Edwards' initial effort.
The Saints were level inside five minutes with Ryan Brobbel creating his room in the area by beating three home defenders before slotting home.

Three minutes later Ben Clark raced onto Josh Daniels' long ball on the right wing to cross for Jordan Williams to net as TNS established a slender interval lead.
Alex Lang saved Ashley Baker's headed effort while Matthew Chubb's headed effort was gathered by Roberts as both sides created openings at the start of the second-half.
Lang pulled off a fine save to push Jordan Williams' effort around the woodwork and Josh Pask headed wide from the resulting corner as TNS looked to put the tie to bed.
The home side were almost level after 80 minutes with Ryan Reynolds denied by the post.
However, the Cardiff side were reduced to 10 men moments later with Edwards earning a second caution following a reckless challenge on Daniels.
The Saints capitalised on their numerical advantage as Williams swept home from 16 yards to toast his second of the match as TNS remained on course for a domestic treble.
