Police have appealed for information about an assault by a group of men near a Co-op in Oswestry.
West Mercia Police has put out an appeal after a member of the public was assaulted by a “group of males” in Oswestry at the end of last month.
In an appeal by Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team the assault took place at the Co-op in Victoria Road on Saturday, October 26.

According to the police the member of the public was attacked by the group early in the afternoon before fleeing when a car arrived at the scene.
A police officer from the Oswestry area said: “On the October 26 at around 1pm a member of public was assaulted by a group of males outside the Co-op on Victoria Road.
“The group fled when a silver Vauxhall Insignia arrived at the scene. If anyone has any information in relation to this can they please get contact Oswestry SNT referencing 22/93502/24.”
