A bread-making evening has raised almost £600 for a hospital.
The Whitchurch branch of The League of Friends to The Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital hosted the event, which saw more than 40 people in attendance at Tilstock Village Hall.
The guest speaker was Liz Wilson, founder of award-winning bakery and bread school, Overton-based Ma Baker.
Attendees were welcomed with a glass of wine, and watched Ms Wilson as she prepared and kneaded dough, as well as listening to her sharing her industry tips and tricks.
Guests were able to taste a variety of breads and even bid on remaining loaves, with all proceeds going to the charity.
Branch vice chair, Marie Barrow, said: "Thank you to everyone who attended and sincere thanks to Ma Baker for her exceptional and informative demonstration and most enjoyable fundraising evening.
"We have all learned so much.
"As always, praise for our committee who rose to the occasion to support the event."
The Whitchurch branch plans to host Christmas wreath-making classes on Wednesday, November 27, with a session from 2pm to 4pm and then a session from 7pm to 9pm, both at Tilstock Bradbury Village Hall.
Tickets cost £35 and the cost includes all materials as well as festive refreshments.
Tickets are available from secretary Helen Hulme on 07966 490372.
Lots are also being invited for the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Auction of Promises, to be held in Whitchurch in 2025.
For more details about the auction, please contact the secretary on 07966 490372 or the chair on 07783 679688.
