Ellesmere Town Council has issued an appeal for information to help find the culprits who caused excessive vandalism at local public toilets.
The vandalism has taken place both inside and outside of the public toilets in Cross Street and it is not the first time it has happened.
Toilet paper has been thrown over the walls, floors and cisterns while the floors were flooded by the vandals.

The toilet walls paintwork was also scratched off to reveal the original yellow as dirt was also spread across the walls, seen in posts published on the town council’s social media.
A plea for help has been issued to identify the people responsible so that the money dished out to repair the damage can be recouped by the council.
An Ellesmere Town Council spokesman said: “This isn’t the first time that we’ve had to deal with this situation and again, we are hugely disappointed to say the least.

“We are aware that the doors have been kicked in and the damage to the walls has been done while people are watching, and it hasn’t been reported to us.
“In the past, when this has happened and been reported, we have managed to catch it on CCTV and the money we have paid out to repair the damage has been recovered afterwards.
“This time, we are hoping for people to help us again with the information needed to go back and look at when it happened so we can identify who did this and pursue them.
“These are public facilities, paid for by taxpayers which are for everyone, and a tiny minority is yet again making them unusable for people by showing wilful disregard for them.
“If you have witnessed or do witness people vandalising our public facilities, please let us know so that we can take the necessary action to make them stop.”
They added: “Damage to the doors and locking mechanisms have cost a considerable amount of tax payers money this year. Please help us to reduce vandalism.”
