Fire crews were called out to Oswestry after a suspected arson attack.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the fire crew from Oswestry were called out during the early hours of Tuesday morning (October 29) to deal with a car that had caught fire.
Crews were called to the scene on Wats Drive just after midnight to find more than half of the car engulfed in flames.
According to the fire service, officers from West Mercia Police were also called to the scene.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue confirmed that initial evidence pointed to the fire being started by 'deliberate ignition'.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 00:10 on Tuesday, October 29, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.
“One fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.
“Crews used Breathing Apparatus (BA) and a Hosereel jet to tackle the fire.
“Also at the scene of the incident were the Police.
“One car was found approximately 50 per cent involved in a fire. Crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish whilst wearing breathing apparatus. Believed to be deliberate ignition.”
