A Chirk woman has been charged with shoplifting and assaulting a police officer.
North Wales police have confirmed that Hayley Sudlow, 41, of Princess Avenue, Chirk has been charged for multiple counts of shoplifting and assaulting an officer.
Sudlow appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court yesterday (October 16) charged with multiple counts of theft.

North Wales Police reported that the thefts allegedly occurred at shops in Chirk, Llangollen and Wrexham in August and October this year.
According to the force the alleged assault of the officer took place at the beginning of this week (October 14).
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "A 41-year-old woman has been charged with several shoplifting offences.
“Hayley Sudlow, of Princess Avenue, Chirk, appeared before Wrexham Magistrates Court yesterday (Wednesday, October 16) charged with three counts of theft.
“She was also charged with common assault of a police officer following an incident in Chirk on Monday, October 14.
“The thefts took place at food stores in Chirk, Llangollen and Wrexham in August and October this year.
“Sudlow was bailed with conditions to appear before Wrexham Magistrates Court on November 7.”
