RAIL users through Gobowen and Chirk are being warned of delays after a tree fell on the Transport for Wales line.
Services between Shrewsbury, Wrexham and Chester have been seriously affected by the fallen tree and TfW have warned rail passengers to expect delays.

According to its website, TfW expects the service to resume from 1.45pm onward or until the tree is removed.
The website said: “Due to a tree blocking the railway between Chirk and Ruabon some lines are blocked.
“Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until 1.45pm.”
