One person was injured after a car crashed into a tree near Oswestry
Teams from West Mercia Police and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance after a car crashed into a tree in Knockin yesterday evening (October 13).
Fire crews arrived on the scene to make the vehicle safe while police and ambulance teams dealt with the driver.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 6.25pm on Sunday, October 13, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place.
“Three fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Oswestry and Wellington.
“Also at the scene of the incident were the Police.
“No persons were trapped, crews made vehicle safe and incident left with police.”

West Mercia Police has confirmed the driver of the vehicle suffered “minor injuries” after the crash
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We were called to a single vehicle collision on The Avenue in Knockin at around 6.30pm yesterday (Sunday 13 October).
“A car had collided with a tree and the driver sustained minor injuries. No arrests were made.”
