Fire crews were scrambled to a property in Oswestry after a chimney caught fire.
Teams from Shropshire fire and Rescue were called to the property on Weston Avenue yesterday evening (October 13) after a chimney caught fire.
Crews from Oswestry were called to the house after just 7pm and needed to use specialised equipment to put out the blaze.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 19:24 on Sunday, October 13, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire.
“One fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.
“Reports of a chimney fire, crews extinguished using chimney rods and water.”
