Shropshire Firefighters were called to help West Mercia Police at the scene of a crash near Oswestry over fears of a potential fuel leak.
While there was no sudden fire, officers from West Mercia Police called Shropshire Fire and Rescue for assistance in making the area safe after a road traffic collision on a road near Oswestry.
The crash, which happened at 7.10pm on Monday, October 7, Railway Bridge Junction to Pendle Hall in Llynclys, involved one vehicle but sparked concerns from police after they discovered a liquid was leaking from the vehicle.

Fearing a potential fire, firefighters were called for assistance, with Shropshire Fire and Rescue control receiving a call reporting a fire classified as RTC Making Safe at approximately 7.14pm.
One fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry to provide assistance to police officers already on the scene, who were in the process of recovering the vehicle. No injuries were reported from the crash.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We were called to a single vehicle collision on the Railway Bridge Junction to Pendle Hall in Llynclys, Shropshire at around 7.10pm on Monday, 7 October.
“Officers requested the attendance of the fire service due to leaking liquid which was coming from the vehicle. Recovery for the vehicle was arranged and no injuries were reported.”
