The Oswestry Borough Mayor for 2002 was Dilys Gaskill and is pictured in her civic outfit.
The defunct Oswestry Town in action against Cefn Druids in 2002. The latter has recently re-formed as a different club to the one which claimed to be one of Wales' oldest.
Oswestry Golf Club held dinner to celebrate their 100th anniversary in 2002.
