One person was hospitalised after a van flipped into a field after a crash in Oswestry.
Shropshire Fire crews were called out to the A483 near the Sweeney in the early hours of this morning (September 20) after reports of a crash.
Three teams from Oswestry and Ellesmere were called to the scene along with West Mercia Police and the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

When they arrived at the scene, they found the occupant of the vehicle had escaped the van, however the vehicle was found in an unsafe condition which was then dealt with by the fire crews.
Oswestry Fire station have confirmed that the van appeared to have flipped after making contact with a nearby wall before overturning into a field.
The occupant of the van has since been taken to hospital.

A spokesperson for Oswestry Fire Station said: “At 03:49 SFRS Fire Control received a call about a road traffic collision in Oswestry.
"Three fire engines were mobilised from Oswestry and Ellesmere, along with an Operations Officer. Crews utilised dry powder extinguishers, hosereel jets, small gear and a thermal imaging camera.
“Ambulance Service and Police were also on scene.
“One casualty was initially reported trapped in a van that had overturned in a field after colliding with a field wall.
“Upon arrival, the casualty had self-extricated. Crews stabilised the vehicle.
“The incident concluded at 04:30 with the air ambulance also booking attendance. Casualty has now been transported to hospital.”
