THE NEW manager of a charming north Wales pub has revealed his goals as it welcomes a new lease of life.
Customers were devastated to hear of the sudden closure of The Bridge Inn, situated in Chirk Bank, Wrexham, earlier this month.
At the time, a spokesperson said the premises would close with immediate effect and it was "with a heavy heart" that they couldn't take the pub to the next level.
New manager John Mallatratt has since confirmed the establishment, owned by Admiral Taverns, will reopen its doors this weekend on Saturday, September 21.
He is thrilled to welcome a new staffing team to continue serving customers in the Wrexham-Shropshire border community.
John said: "I'm excited to have the opportunity to put The Bridge back in the heart of the community.
"We want to make it a place for people to gather and spend time with friends with a reasonably priced home cooked meal and good beer at fair prices.

"We will create a consistently clean and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. We will also have some renovations coming soon whilst maintaining the character of the building that people already know and love."
Anyone interested in joining the team should contact 07415068101 for further details on available positions, including bar, kitchen and cleaning.
So, if you haven't already got plans this weekend, head down and support the new faces at The Bridge.
