A POPULAR pub on the Wrexham-Shropshire border is reopening its doors later this month.
The Bridge Inn, Chirk, closed suddenly earlier this month to the shock of its customers.
A spokesperson said: "We have closed the pub with a heavy heart as we loved the pub and customers. But we can’t take the pub to the next level."
However, the pub has since been placed under new management by Admiral Taverns - which owns it.
And the pub has announced it is reopening its doors on September 21. It is currently hiring to run its bar, kitchen and cleaning. Anyone interested can contact 07415 068101 for further information.
After news that the pub, which sits close to the England-Wales border, is opening its doors was shared on Facebook, people were quick to welcome the news.
One person said: "This is great news. Absolutely love this pub and was gutted when it closed."
