An 80-year-old man completed a triathlon with his family, raising more than £1,300 for Alzheimer's so far.
John Etherington, along with his son-in-law Andrew Doughton and two grandsons, Brad Etherington and Sam Doughton, took part in the Shropshire Sprint Triathlon in Ellesmere on Sunday, September 8.
The event included a 750m open water swim, a 25k bike ride, and a 5k run.
Mr Etherington, who turned 80 in July, won an age group medal for winning the 80-plus category.
