Police were called to Gobowen station after an intoxicated man managed to get onto the railway tracks.

British Transport Police received reports from people concerned about the man on Saturday (September 7).

A large police presence was seen at the station that afternoon, much of which was thought to have been in place due to concerns about clashes between Shrewsbury Town and Wrexham AFC fans.
