A WOODEN holiday cottage fully on fire prompted Shropshire firefighters to be called out from Oswestry, Ellesmere and Llansilin on Thursday.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crews from the two stations were joined by colleagues from Mid and West Wales Fire Service in Llansilin at around 10.20pm.
They were there after reports of a fire at a holiday let which was fully on fire when firefighters arrived at the scene.

A spokesman for Oswestry Fire Station said: “At 10.21pm, SFRS Fire Control received a call about a house fire in Oswestry.
“Three fire appliances from Oswestry, Ellesmere and Llansilin, along with an operations officer, were sent to the incident.
“Crews used two breathing apparatus, one covering jet, one hosereel jet and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the blaze.

“One holiday let was fully involved in the fire. Fortunately, all persons have been accounted for.
“Great work by all involved in ensuring the safety of the public.”
A stop message was sent to SFRS control at around 11.30pm confirming no further support was required.
