AN OSWESTRY man found in his bathroom by his mum and a neighbour died a drug and alcohol-related death, a coroner has ruled.

Christopher Price, 48 and of Willows Crescent in West Felton, died on April 10 this year after his mother, with whom he shared a key, was forced to break into their property after her son had returned home before her.

Shropshire coroner John Ellery heard a statement from PC David Wagg, read by an officer, saying that he and a fellow officer from West Mercia Police attended the scene only to be told that Mr Price was deceased.

Here we will try and answer some of your questions about what will happen, what can be reported and why.

The court also heard that despite the best efforts of paramedics and Mr Price’s neighbour Bronwen Gamble, he died at around 8.45pm.

PC Wagg also confirmed in his statement that there had been a red-topped syringe and a bottle of vodka found next to him.

Mr Ellery concluded a drug and alcohol-related death.
