The A528 near Ellesmere is set to be closed at the beginning of next month.
Shropshire Council’s Highways team have confirmed that the road will be closed on Thursday, September 5, while essential works take place.

The road will be closed all through that day with the closure expected to last from 9.30am to 4pm.
The closure on the A528 will be from the junction Caegoody Lane to the Clwyd County Boundary and access will on be available for residents.
This will be part of the repair work to that section of road which will see road works in place to take out “carriageway repairs to including kerbing, sign posts and iron works” as will be part of the “completion of 250 square metres”.
