The A5 trunk road at Chirk Bypass, Wrexham, will be temporarily shut next month.
This planned closure revealed on the Public Notice Portal, has been ordered by the Welsh Ministers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The order is set to be in effect from 6am, on September 1, stretching the length of Chirk Bypass from the Wales/England border to Halton Roundabout.
Vehicles, excluding those used by emergency services or involved in the works, will be banned, alongside cyclists and pedestrians.
Where possible the closures will be for a short time and won't require alternative routes.
However, an alternative route for northbound traffic from Gledrid Roundabout through the northbound B5070 Chirk Road and eastbound A5 will be in place during extended closures.
The opposite direction will apply for southbound traffic from Halton Roundabout.
The weight limit on the B5070 bridge will be lifted during these times.
