Show day is here - and after last year's washout weather, things are looking a lot more promising for this year's edition.
Thousands of people are expected to descend on the showground for one of the country's leading agricultural events today.
The 137th edition of the show promises to be jam-packed with entertainment, and brings together people from across the region.
Last year saw the show go ahead despite heavy rain from Storm Antoni causing havoc, with plenty of people still turning out to enjoy the stalls and shows on offer.
But show chairman David Kempster says he, his council and all the staff have everything crossed to ensure a sunny day for the 2024 event on Saturday.

The UV index is highest between 11am and 2pm so don't forget hats and sunscreen.
What's on at the show?
This year will include a thrilling display from Ollie’s Equestrain Display Team. The team of Spanish will provide an exhibition of beauty, power and jaw-dropping tricks.
The Village Green will be buzzing with activities and entertainment for all ages, competitors in the livestock area will be showing off their many breeds of cattle and sheep, and the sheep shearing area, organized by Alwyn Morris, will once again be popular.
The Horticultural Marquee provides a blaze of colour, with competitions for every age group.
Montgomeryshire’s Vintage Tractor and Farm Machinery display will be followed by the Vintage Classic Car and Motorcycle vehicles.
Oswestry Model Engineering Society will again be providing the public with rides on their quarter mile dual gauge track, and the food hall will be full of beautiful tastes and smells.
