The New Saints Women have completed the signing of former Everton, Liverpool, and Wolverhampton Wanderers player Poppy Kendrick-Jones who joins the club ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The Oswestry-born youngster enjoyed four seasons in total with Everton’s academy, as well as two seasons at Liverpool and a year-long spell with the Wolves U21s side.
The Saints have also completed the signing of two highly rated youngsters.
Welsh youth international Lexi Jones is joined by 19 year old Sophie Phillips in joining the Saints.
Shauna Duffy, head coach at The New Saints FC, said: “I have previously coached Poppy at Liverpool Girls Academy, so naturally I’m very excited to be working with her again in a senior environment.

“She’s got an abundance of talent and is incredibly versatile, so we’re looking forward to having her on board ahead of a huge campaign for the club.
Jones has made multiple appearances in the Welsh shirt at U17 level, including three in the UEFA European U17 championships which took place earlier this year in Albania.
Duffy said: “We’re delighted to have secured this signing and look forward to implementing Lexi into the squad ahead of the new season.
“Lexi is a player who has incredible pedigree at youth level, both domestically and as well as representing Wales at various levels of the game.
“She is a highly talented player who will bring a lot to the squad and we have an opportunity to help her continue her development with her being so young, which is exciting.
“Sophie is someone I’m really excited to work with ahead of the upcoming season. She possesses a great attitude and in a short space of time, has already shown how versatile she can be, so I’m delighted to have on board.”
