A drink driver blew a reading almost five times higher than the legal drink driving limit after being pulled over in Oswestry, police say.
The reading taken after the stop on Friday (July 26) was one of the highest readings seen in the past 20 years by the officers involved.
The woman was pulled over at Lidl car park after a member of the public alerted the police to her acting erratically and suspecting she may have been under the influence of drink or drugs.

When they asked the woman to blow into a breathalyser test she blew a reading of 168 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - nearly five times the legal limit of 35.
One of the West Mercia Police officers involved in the arrest said: “Friday's incident on Lidl car park, Oswestry, saw officers arrest a female driver for being unfit through drink or drugs.
“The driver at the time was asked to perform a roadside breath test.
“The legal limit is 35 Micrograms of alcohol in 100mililitres of breath.
“Our driver recorded a reading of 168, this is one of the highest readings I've seen for a very long time in my 20 years of policing.”
