Cambrian Heritage Railways (CHR) has confirmed steam engine 'Austin 1' will be operational for the rest of its 2024 season.
The engine is set to provide weekend services between Oswestry & Weston Wharf, kicking off last weekend.
Reflecting on the news, CHR Chairman Robert Williams said: "We are excited at the start of our summer steam service.
"The attraction & nostalgia of steam enhances our heritage railway appeal which can be enjoyed all day with our excellently priced tickets, these offer unlimited travel for the day of purchase."

Trains will operate at 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm & 3.30pm every weekend until early-September.
CHRs will also offer a diesel-operated Brewery Evening service on Saturdays, servicing those wishing to visit Stonehouse Brewery.
You can purchase tickets, at Oswestry Station, priced at adults £8, children £5, and concessions £7 for unlimited travel.
