POLICE say an investigation into a collision outside Oswestry that left a woman with life-changing injuries is still ongoing.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving on Friday, March 8.

A woman was airlifted to hospital with 'life-changing' injuries after a crash involving a car and a pedestrian in Trefonen Road in Morda.

OTHER NEWS:

A spokesman for West Mercia Police confirmed that the suspect is still being investigated.

They said: “The investigation is still ongoing and the driver was released under investigation.”

The spokesman also confirmed he had not been bailed.

The incident, in Morda, led to a woman who had been walking her dog needed an air ambulance to be taken to hospital.

All emergency services attended the scene and it was reportedly locally that the woman’s dog died at the scene.
