ELLESMERE Rangers have strengthened with two new signings ahead of the forthcoming Salop Leisure League Premier League season.

The Swans have signed teenager Zack Porter from Shawbury United while former Shrewsbury Up and Comers midfielder Mark Murch has joined following spells at Allscott and Saha.

Manager Joe Byers said: “I’m delighted that Murchy has signed for this season. I’ve known him for years and have played against him many- times too, so | know his ability and what he can bring to the side.

“I’m really looking forward to working with him.”

Byers added :”I worked with Zack a few years ago so now him well. Not only is he a very talented football player but a good person as well.

“He is a winner and will keep standards high as he will always demand more from the group.”

Meanwhile Rangers have confirmed a host of players have committed for the new season with Asa Dean, Billy Pugh, Dan Blower, Finn Colley, Liam Gittins, Max Jones, Louis Millington and Matt Mulcahy committing for another season.

The Salop Leisure League has confirmed its composition for the forthcoming season.

The premier league will comprise of AMS, Bridgnorth Spartans, Church Stretton Town, Dawley Town, Ellesmere Rangers, Ercall Colts, Gobowen Celtic, Haughmond, Morda United, NC United, Newport Town, Shrewsbury Juniors, Shrewsbury Up and Comers, St Martins, Wem Town, Whitchirch Alport 1946 and Wrockwardine Wood.

The first division sees Bridgnorth Social, Weston Rhyn, Allscott, Brown Clee, Ercall Cots Evolution, Ercall Colts Rangers, Ercall Colts Revolution; Llanymynech, Meole Brace 1906, Morda United Development, NC United Reserves, Prees, SAHA, Shrewsbury Up and Comers Reserves, Wrockwardine Wood Development, Wem Town Colts.
