THE death of a person close to railway lines in Weston Rhyn on Thursday morning is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the scene near Weston Rhyn, at around 7.23am on Thursday, following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
In a statement released by BTP, it said that other emergency services attended and the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Paramedics also attended, however, sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene,” a spokesman said.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Transport for Wales said the incident meant trains running between Gobowen and Chirk may be cancelled or delayed, with rail replacement services sourced to run in both directions.
It is the second non-suspicious death close to the tracks in the village in the last six months.
