Park Hall Countryside Experience in Oswestry has announced a series of themed weeks to entertain children during the summer holidays.

The first event, Dino Week, kicks off on July 22 and runs through July 28.

Attendees will have the chance to meet Dora the Dino, baby dinosaurs, watch dinosaur races, and uncover fossils through digs.

Starting from July 29 to September 8, the farm will open Maisy’s Maize Maze, giving visitors the challenge of finding their way through the maze and participating in a cow-themed quiz.

Park Hall continues its exciting line-up with Pirates and Princesses Week from August 5 to 11.

Enjoy daily shows with characters Hapless Jim the Pirate and Princess Pearl, join a treasure hunt, and meet the princesses in a fancy dress competition.

Science Week will then follow from August 12 to 18 with Grandolph the Wizard's science show and experiments.

Exotic Animal Week takes place from August 19 to August 25, where Simon Airey, also known as the animal man, showcases creatures from Corner Exotics, including scorpions and snakes.

The themed weeks finish with Bop and Pop Week celebrating an exciting summer with a junior disco, party games, and a silent disco.

In addition to the themed events, the venue, which houses a variety of animals including goats, chickens and pigs, offers visitors access to the entire site.

Richard Powell, joint owner-director at Park Hall, said: "Once again we have filled our summer schedule with plenty of fun events which means there’s something new every week to enjoy."

Tickets for the event weeks are £13.95 online and £15.95 at the farm entrance, with children under two admitted free of charge.
