ENGLAND are on the verge of making history in Germany and a family from near Oswestry are determined to be part of it.
The Skirton family from Morda were in Dortmund to watch England overcome the Netherlands on Wednesday to seal a place in the final against Spain on Sunday.
Brothers David and James are now striving to ensure they have tickets for the match at the Olympiastadion in Berlin
David said: "It’s been a surreal experience. Walking around Dortmund the English were completely outnumbered by Dutch fans. Every fanzone was overflowing with the Dutch and every street was crowded.

"We were very disappointed with the apparent lack of English supporters - until we got into the stadium. The atmosphere was amazing and there were thousands of English packed in on our side.
"The England fans certainly outnumbered the Dutch fans now."
David and brother James watched as Ollie Watkins came off the bench to fire a late winner and send the English contingent into rapture.
He said: "It was the most exciting football match I have ever had the privilege to see with my own eyes, and I doubt I’ll get to see another like it.
"In the stadium after the game and on the streets and trains the English continued to sing and chant - I was proud to be a part of it."
However the brothers have not given up hope of being in Berlin on Sunday.
"If we manage to get tickets again we will be heading straight to Berlin for the final, where I have almost no doubt that England will win," said David.
Both brothers are members of Morda United Football Club with James representing the club's under 18s and David progressing to the club's 1975 development team last season.
A video of James, who plays for the U18s and the Morda 1975 team, was put out on social media. David recently finished his last season of U18s and played for the Morda 1975 team.
The duo's parents are also involved with Morda, watching all their sons' games, were also at the semi-final.
