One of the roads that runs by the Marches School in Oswestry is closed due to issues with a power line.
Penylan Lane in Oswestry which runs along the back of the school is currently closed after a power line fell this afternoon (July 3).
West Mercia Police have advised that there will no access to the area from Coed y Go while repairs are made and the road is once again safe to travel through.
In a statement online, a spokesperson for Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “Road closed at Penylan Lane, Oswestry, due to a power line down by Marches school.
"No access from Coed Y Go as the school staff will be leaving soon.”
