Three people were injured after a crash on Mile End roundabout in Oswestry this weekend.
Emergency services were called to the scene after a crash involving an electric vehicle on late Friday night (June 28).
West Mercia Police, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service and the West Midlands Ambulance service rushed to the scene, to find the car in the centre of the island after colliding with a pole.
According to Oswestry Fire Station, there were “three casualties” as a result of the crash.

A spokesperson for Oswestry Fire Station said: “At 11.07pm on Friday June 28 our fire control room received a report of a Road Traffic Collision at Mile End Roundabout.
“The incident involved one electric vehicle which came to rest in the centre of the roundabout.
“They immediately mobilised three fire appliances, including the Incident Support Unit, from Oswestry and Ellesmere. An Operations Officer was also on scene to coordinate the response.
“Alongside us, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police were present to assist. The incident has resulted in 3 casualties.
“Our crews worked diligently to manage the situation and ensure the safety and care of those involved.”
Roads were “open and accessible” by Saturday morning. There has been no update on the condition of those involved in the crash.
