A ROAD near Oswestry was closed in the early hours of Saturday morning due to a “police incident”.
West Mercia Police said the B4580 was closed at Llawnt at around 3.40am and the force asked road users to find an alternative route. The force reported at 10.56am that the road had reopened.
“Please be aware that due to a police incident, there is a road closure in place on (the) B4580 Llawnt, Oswestry,” the force tweeted.
“This may cause increased traffic in the area. Please find an alternate route. Updates to follow.”
