LAWRENCE Wilson is the new manager of Llansantffraid Football Club.
The ex-Wem Town, Llanfair United and Llanidloes Town boss was unveiled by the Ardal North East League club just a fortnight after his departure from Chirk AAA where he was appointed manager.
However, a change of heart has seen Wilson join the Saints.
A club spokesman said: "We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Lawrence Wilson as our new first team manager.

"Lawrence joins us with a wealth of experience having previously managed at a high level. Lawrence is a UEFA B licence coach and is currently a UEFA A licence candidate."
Wilson was delighted with his appointment having succeeded Marc Griffiths and Dan Graham at the helm.
He said: "I’m thrilled to be joining Llansantffraid as manager.
"Since I had first conversation with the club it has all been positive from the get go.
"The club's ambitions are to wanting to keep progressing and that aligns with my vision, I feel we are good fit for each other.
"I’m looking forward to meeting the squad this week and working with them and hopefully get some new signings in to bolster the squad.
"I think the Ardal NE league will be probably the toughest it has been since the leagues reformed but that makes it more competitive across the whole league for everyone.
"I’m looking forward to the season ahead and see some familiar faces along the way."
