The popular Oswestry food and drink festival is making a return next month.

The free event, praised for its friendly atmosphere, will take place on July 6 and 7 in Oswestry Town centre.

Independent producers, street food vendors, local distillers and brewers alike will be in attendance, offering everything from artisanal cheeses, meats and breads to award-winning liqueurs, gins, and beers.

The festival will also feature live music and street entertainment to delight the visitors.

The Mayor of Oswestry, Cllr Mike Isherwood said: "This is a fantastic free event which is jam-packed with great food, family-fun, music and entertainment.

"It is a highlight in our summer events programme, and I can’t wait."

The event is set to run from 10am to 4pm each day on Bailey Head, Bailey Street & Cross Street.
