Emergency services were scrambled to a crash near Ellesmere.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Mercia Police and the West Midlands Ambulance Service were all on the scene after a crash on Stocks Lane yesterday morning (June 16).

Fire crews were called to make the vehicles “electrically safe”.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 11:48am on Sunday, June, 16, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Ellesmere.

“One fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

“Crews used Small gear to deal with the incident.

“Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

“Crews assisted West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service, and made vehicles electrically safe.

The condition of those involved is unclear at this time.
