Three men - including one who lives in Oswestry - will be sentenced next month for assaulting a man by beating him in Welshpool.
Bulgarian nationals Teodor Ivanov, Lilian Kirov and Krasimir Krumov pleaded guilty to two charges of assault by beating and using threatening words or behaviour towards Thomas Richards on Friday, February 16.
The trio gave their pleas at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, June 4, through a Bulgarian interpreter which Krumov added that he was "really sorry".
The sentencing hearing was adjourned for the probation service to write a pre-sentence report for each of the defendants.
Ivanov, 25, and Krumov, 49, both of High Street, Welshpool, and Kirov, 37, of Princess Street, Oswestry were given unconditional bail to return to court for sentencing on July 2.
Anthony Jackson, chair of the magistrates' bench, warned: "If you don’t appear you may find a warrant for your arrest".
