People attending a drop-in session at Oswestry’s Cambrian Railway building can enjoy a return train journey to Weston Wharf.
The event on June 12, from 3pm to 6pm, will see the extra train service run by Cambrian Heritage Railways.
Special trains will run to Weston Wharf at 4pm and 5pm, travelling through Oswestry suburbs and open fields.
The session is to inform people about roof repairs, and Shropshire Council's plans to return the building to full use.
This event will also give people a chance to see memories and photos of the building that have been shared through the current engagement exercise and work by school pupils in the area.
Staff from Shropshire Council and Donald Insall Associates the historic building specialist will be available to explain potential uses.
They will also shared the results of recent studies of the building and its condition.
Shropshire Council is reaching out to people in the area to share memories and stories of the building.
Photos or longer stories can be sent to consultancy@insall-architects.co.uk or via the council's website.
Paper forms are available at Oswestry Library for return to the Cambrian Railway building.
